SBAC Update

We, along with thousands of schools across California, participated in a field test of a modern assessment system designed to help shape teaching and learning in the classroom. If you would like to see what types of questions students were asked or see how the test is presented, attached is a link to the training/practice tests.

To log in to the Practice Test, simply select [Sign In], then navigate through the login screens.

BVE Joins In On The "Hour Of Code"!

The Hour of Code was designed to foster interest in the computer science field and to show all students that anyone can learn the basics of coding. In 2013, nearly 15 million students participated in the Hour of Code.  Check out the video below for more details.

This year, Burton Valley again joined in the fun.  BVE students from Kindergarten to Fifth Grade were introduced to the basics of coding through the website: Code.org, and through an app called The Foos.  The link for Code.org and information on how to download The Foos are listed below.  Please take a look, and maybe even try it yourself!
