Weekly Newsletter January 28th-February1st.

Hello,

Thank goodness for all the beautiful sunshine this week.  It was a nice break from the rain.  In math, we are working on multiplying and dividing decimals.  In writing, the students just finished their first literary essay about the Panyee Football Club.  Next week, we will dissect a new text and write an all new essay.  They will be pros, soon enough!  In social studies, we continue our look at colonial America and the students are working really hard on their colonial occupations research projects.  Again, camp will be here before we know it, so please begin talking to your child about it and let me know if there is anything I can do to help.  Many informational meeting to come to prepare you and your child for this wonderful experience.  We also have some great field trips coming up, so please check out the dates below and keep your eyes peeled for those permission slips.

     Sincerely,

                     Mrs. Logue

Weekly Quote

Let your child be the weird kid.

Let them be the funny kid, the quiet kid,

the smart kid, the athletic kid, the theater kid,

the numbers kid, the teacher's pet, the chatter box,

the valedictorian, the middle of the pack,

the "barely made it" kid.

Just don't let them be the mean kid.
